 DAY - 1 Departing Calgary for Helena, Montana Pick-up at Days Inn South (former Stampeder Inn) at 3828 McLeod Trail South.  We will also have a coffee stop and pick up passengers in Lethbridge. After we cross the Canada/USA border we will enjoy scenic Montana finally arriving around 4.30pm in Helena, Montana.Helena, like every other city in Montana, is small. It is also very small in population in comparison to other US state capitols. The population of Helena in the 2000 census was 25,780 people. Factoring in the handful of surrounding communities boosts the “Helena Metropolis” to around 40,000 people – not exactly large. Helena, in case you are wondering, lies in Lewis and Clark County. DAY - 2 Departing Montana for Wendover, Nevada This morning we depart Montana and make our way through scenic Idaho and Utah, before finally arriving at the Nevada/Utah border where Wendover is  where you can enjoy an exciting casino night at the Nugget Hotel Casino. This wonderful Hotel Casino has 49 tables, over 800 slots, sports book, 5 restaurants, gift shop etc. Before we enter Wendover, you will see the great salt lake, mostly famous for the land speed records which have been set there. The vast and mysterious salt flats are a delight to behold. DAY - 3 Departing Wendover for Laughlin, Today we are off to Laughlin driving through the scenic and lovely mountains of Eastern Nevada. We stop in the high mountain town of Ely, Nevada where you can buy lunch or snacks.  Many Hollywood films were staged in Ely because of it's rugged surroundings. After lunch, we keep driving south to Laughlin where we will stay for 2 nights at the Luxurious River Palms Resort Casino. With it's mild Winter Weather averaging 22C in February, to it's numerous Casinos, Laughlin has it all. You can stroll on the famous Boardwalk along the banks of the Colorado River, hopping from Casino to Casino at your leisure, or just relax outside and enjoy the warm and gentle breeze that awakens the ever evolving spirit within yourself. You can sit by the pool or gamble to your hearts content, or just do some window shopping at the Horizon Outlet Mall just a short walk from your Resort Hotel. Day - 5 Departing Laughlin for Palm Springs. This morning Nevada and drive through the scenic and spectacular, mountain region of the Mojave Desert, through San Bernardino and finally arriving early afternoon for our 3 night stay at sunny Palm Springs, California, where you can relax in the Spa Resort Casino Hotel for the afternoon and evening, or walk across the street to the newly built, 100 million dollar casino and try your luck.Just a short 2 blocks from your hotel is Palm Canyon Drive where all the wonderful shops and action of Palm Springs is. Many quaint little bars and restaurants adorn this street, each with its own unique and splendid character. Your resort in Palm Springs is very luxurious and constantly winning award after award, year after year for its rejuvinating Mineral Spa's and ambiance. We use the Spa Resort Casino year after year as our customers demand it. Palms Springs weather in March is great, with an average high of 27C and sunshine galore! From the wonderful Casino accross the road, to Palm Canyon Drive with it's quaint shops, bars and restaurant, to your Resort with Pools and Spa, Palms Springs is a true delight for the senses.  Day - 6 Relax and Enjoy Today you can just sit back and relax at the pool, or mineral bath in your hotel. Of course, you can walk across the road and have some gaming fun at Palm Springs newest and largest casino or take a short stroll to Palm Canyon Drive and window shop. You may decide that today is a perfect day to take a ride on the world's largest rotating tramcars which transports passengers from the Valley Station through 5 unique life zones from the hot Mexican Sonoran Dessert to an Alpine wilderness at an elevation of 8,516 feet. The mountain station features a restaurant, cocktail lounge, gift shop, natural history museum and a theatre showing a special documentary film on the history of the Tramway. Another great thing to do is to take in a show at the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies. A world-famous, Broadway-caliber celebration of the music, dance, and comedy of the 30s and 40s, with a cast old enough to have lived it!The positive reviews for the Palm Springs Follies go on and on and is well worth the effort to purchase show tickets and have a great time. Standing ovations are standard in this fun packed show for all! Day - 7 Canyon Tour Today we have a 2 hour Palm Springs City and Indian Canyon tour.  Behold the largest Palm Desert in North America with all its natural beauty and grace. The Palm Springs Indian Canyons are one of the most beautiful attractions to any Palm Springs Visitor, especially if you love to hike. Unlike other area trails, most of the trails in the Indian Canyons follow running streams, and are abundant in California Fan Palms, and many other types of vegetation and wildlife. On this tour you will also see the houses once occupied by Clark Gable, Elvis Presely, Marilyn Monroe, Nat King Cole, Liberace, Kirk Douglas and many more. We will also visit some rugged canyons & walk along a tranquil creek that meanders through groves of stately skirted palms and unusual rock formations formed by earthquake fault movement. All these tours are free and optional. This is your last day in Palm Springs, California so for the rest of the day you can just kick back and relax or continue to explore the many wonders this desert community has to offer. Today at 6:00pm to 10:00pm, just 2 blocks from your hotel, Palm Canyon Drive will be closed to all car traffic and vendors from all styles of life will set up shop and market all their products. This is a must see for all and is well worth the time to end your Palm Springs experience in the most enjoyable way.  Day - 8 Palm Springs to Anaheim. We depart today for a scenic drive to Anaheim, California to your hotel near Disneyland for a 3 night stay. Since it is such a short drive to Anaheim from Palm Springs, we will make a few scenic stops on the way so your short drive will be a very enjoyable one. Your hotel in Anaheim will be close to Disneyland's main gate, and the Disney Shuttle picks up and drops off at your hotel for convenience. We arrive early afternoon in Anaheim and you have a free afternoon to stay by the pool in your hotel, or wander off to Disneyland and relive the child within yourself. Day - 9 Discovering LA Today we have planned a free side tour to many famous places in LA. This tour will take you to all the famous places you have heard and read about. Rodeo Drive, Hollywood Blvd, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Brentwood, Celebrity House Drive bys and so much more.  This is a fully narrated tour which will reveal the history and culture of many of the vibrant areas we shall visit. Don't forget to bring your camera and several roles of film as we will explore many fascinating areas. If you think you have seen it all, then you will be pleasantly surprised with this fun tour as it covers many of the areas and highlights that LA and Hollywood are famous for. Sit back, relax and enjoy a once in a lifetime ride filled with fun and excitement around every corner. Day - 10 Hollywood's Universal Studios Today we shall depart for Hollywood's Universal Studios. This is what Hollywood is all about and you will really get to know and experience the ins and outs of Hollywood film making as well as witness many special effect themes that Hollywood is famous for. Universal Studios and Theme park is the world’s largest of it’s kind and was nothing short of fantastic 25 years ago...but now it just keeps getting better and better.  Please bring your cameras as you will be sorry if you did not. Everything that you can imagine and so much more is there. This is the place of dreams and hopes and excitement. No one has ever left disappointed. We will pick you up again at 5:00 pm so that you will have enough time to absorb everything that you will witness in this Icon of Hollywood. Come face-to-face with "living" dinosaurs, a 50-foot T-Rex. See the secrets of Universal's Chronicles of Riddick, Van Helsing and other big blockbusters revealed in the new Special Effect Stages. You'll even get the chance to unleash your own special effects! The list of fun goes on and on and needs to be experienced first hand by all.
Day - 11 Anaheim to Las Vegas Today we are off to Las Vegas driving through the scenic desert vistas passing through Eastern California and Western Nevada. It is only a 4 hour drive from Anaheim to Las Vegas so you will be arriving very early in the afternoon in Las Vegas so that you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening off. We stay overnight in Las Vegas at the Fitzgerald's Hotel Casino on Fremont Street. The Fitzgerald's Hotel Casino is in the heart of Fremont Street, under the new Fremont Street LCD Light Canopy with 25 million lights. Lots of casinos abound this street for absolute fun and excitement.  Day - 12 Departing Las Vegas for Wendover. We will depart Las Vegas this morning for Wendover again where you will enjoy another wonderful night at the Wendover Nugget Hotel Casino with a free buffet. Behind Wendover is the Great Salt Lake where all the land speed records have been set year after year. Two hours from Wendover is Salt Lake City and the Great Salt Lake stretches from Wendover to Salt Lake City. DAY - 13 Departing Wendover for Montana. Today we are working our way back back to Montana, via Utah and Idaho and finally arriving in either Butte or Helena, for your last overnight stay with us.
DAY - 14 Departing Montana for Calgary. We are on our last stretch today heading for Calgary. When we get to the Canada/USA border, we will make a stop at the duty free store where you can do your last minute shopping. Then off to our end destination of Calgary with drop offs in Lethbridge, Fort MacLeod and High River.
